Akeso's Ivonescimab Meets Primary Endpoint in Phase 3 Biliary Tract Cancer Trial

Akeso (HKG:9926) said its PD-1/VEGF bispecific antibody ivonescimab plus chemotherapy met the primary endpoint in a Phase 3 trial for first-line treatment of advanced biliary tract cancer.

The trial met its primary endpoint of overall survival, with key secondary endpoints of progression-free survival and objective response rate also met, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.

The HARMONi-GI1 study enrolled 682 patients, marking ivonescimab's first positive Phase 3 result in gastrointestinal tumors, Akeso said.
