CrowdStrike Reports Beat-and-Raise Q2: 'Best Quarter' in Company History

CrowdStrike Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CRWD) posted financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2027 after the market close on Wednesday. Here’s a rundown of the cybersecurity company’s report.

CrowdStrike Q2 Earnings Highlights

CrowdStrike reported second-quarter revenue of $1.47 billion, beating analyst estimates of $1.44 billion, according to Benzinga Pro. The company posted adjusted earnings of 31 cents per share, beating estimates of 29 cents per share.

Total revenue was up 26% year-over-year in the quarter. Subscription revenue came in at $1.4 billion, up 27% year-over-year. Annual recurring revenue increased 25% year-over-year to $5.84 billion after the company added $332.8 million of net new ARR in the quarter.

Net cash generated from operations was $530.3 million, and free cash flow came in at $377.4 million. CrowdStrike exited the period with $5.01 billion in cash and cash equivalents.

“Q2 was the best quarter in CrowdStrike’s history,” said George Kurtz, founder and CEO of CrowdStrike.

“The Mythos moment translated into mass-market acceptance that AI adoption needs security, and that’s CrowdStrike. Every enterprise will run on AI, and securing it is the largest market opportunity in our history.”

CrowdStrike expects third-quarter revenue of $1.523 billion to $1.529 billion versus estimates of $ 1.515 billion. The company anticipates third-quarter adjusted earnings of 31 cents per share, in line with estimates.

CrowdStrike raised its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance from a range of $5.92 billion to $5.96 billion to a new range of $5.99 billion to $6.01 billion, versus estimates of 5.93 billion. The company also raised its full-year adjusted earnings guidance from a range of $1.22 to $1.24 per share to a new range of $1.25 to $1.26 per share, versus estimates of $1.23 per share.

CrowdStrike’s management team will discuss the quarter on an earnings call with investors and analysts at 5 p.m. ET.

CRWD Stock Rises After Earnings

CrowdStrike shares were up 10.58% in after-hours, trading at $209.20 at the time of publication on Wednesday, according to Benzinga Pro.
