Okta Stock Rallies After Q2 Earnings Beat Estimates

Okta Inc. (NASDAQ:OKTA) posted its second-quarter results after Wednesday’s closing bell, beating estimates on the top and bottom lines. Here’s a look at the details inside the report.

Okta Q2 Details     

Okta reported quarterly earnings of $1.05 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 97 cents, according to Benzinga Pro data.

Quarterly revenue came in at $805 million, which beat the consensus estimate of $795.12 million and was up from $728 million in the same period last year.  

Okta said subscription revenue grew 12% year-over-year, remaining performance obligations (RPO) grew 17% year-over-year and current remaining performance obligations (cRPO) grew 14% year-over-year.

“As the leading independent and neutral identity provider, Okta helps organizations discover agents, secure their connections, govern their actions, and respond when something goes wrong, giving them the flexibility and control they need to deploy agents safely and at scale,” McKinnon added.

Looking Ahead

Okta raised its fiscal 2027 adjusted EPS guidance to a new range of $3.90 to $3.94, versus the $3.84 analyst estimate, and raised its fiscal revenue outlook to $3.22 billion to $3.23 billion, versus the $3.2 billion estimate.

OKTA Stock Price Activity: According to data from Benzinga Pro, Okta stock was up 15.32% to $155 in Wednesday’s extended trading.
