Great Eagle Holdings (00041) Reports Interim Core Profit of HK$512 Million, Down 14.3% Year-on-Year

Great Eagle Holdings (00041) has unveiled its interim results for 2026, with total revenue reaching HK$3.573 billion, marking a 10.7% decline from the prior year. Core profit attributable to equity holders fell 14.3% to HK$512 million, translating to a core earnings per share of HK$0.68. An interim dividend of HK$0.37 per share has been declared.

During the reporting period, the group participated in two new joint venture development projects primarily designated for residential use. The first, located in the Choi Hung area, was secured through a government tender concluded in January 2026. The second involves the development rights for the "Kam Sheung Road Station Phase 2 Property Development," which was successfully obtained via a tender by the MTR Corporation in April 2026. All existing joint ventures are progressing according to schedule, with the group maintaining only minority stakes in each of these projects.

Within its residential portfolio, the group acquired 176 residential units in prime locations through both primary and secondary markets, intending to hold these as long-term investments. On the hotel front, the group's global hotel operations, including those in Hong Kong, posted profit growth exceeding 13%. Expansion of the Ying'nFlo brand in mainland China continued, with a new outlet opening in Qingdao in June 2026, bringing the total number of operating branches to four during the period. Additionally, another branch in Changsha commenced operations in late July 2026.
