Shares of Hong Kong-listed biopharmaceutical companies continued their recent rally on Tuesday, with CANSINOBIO surging 18%, 信达生物 climbing over 11% following its earnings release, 云顶新耀 rising more than 8%, 康方生物 gaining over 6%, and 荣昌生物 advancing more than 5%.
On the company-specific front, CANSINOBIO announced that its subsidiary, CansinoBio Shanghai, has officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Depush Biotech to jointly develop mRNA-based personalized therapeutic cancer vaccines. The partnership leverages both parties' expertise in mRNA vaccine technology and tumor neoantigen discovery and design, aiming to advance the research and commercialization of mRNA personalized therapeutic cancer vaccines. The collaboration targets global markets, focusing on gastrointestinal solid tumors and rare tumor treatments, covering early-stage R&D, clinical translation, regulatory filings, and commercialization phases.
信达生物 reported its 2026 interim results, measured under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): total revenue reached RMB 8.618 billion, up 44.8% year-on-year, with product revenue at RMB 8.202 billion, representing a 56.7% increase. Net profit for the period stood at RMB 1.253 billion, up 50.2% year-on-year, with first-half net profit already exceeding the full-year 2025 level. This robust performance is attributed to the sustained success of its "tumor + chronic disease" dual-driver strategy. Currently, the company's commercialized product portfolio has expanded to 20 products.
