SANY INT'L (00631) shares rallied more than 8% following the release of its interim results, with the stock trading up 8.17% at HK$9.465 at the time of writing, on turnover of HK$74.3671 million.
The company reported first-half revenue of approximately RMB 14.750 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of about 20.5%. Profit for the period stood at roughly RMB 1.175 billion, down about 9.2% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to shareholders reached approximately RMB 1.218 billion, a decrease of about 5.9% compared to the prior-year period.
Notably, international revenue for the first half amounted to RMB 6.812 billion, surging 69.5% year-on-year. International revenue continued to grow across products such as mining vehicles, large port machinery, and small port machinery.
The group's core products maintained a stable market share, with products like roadheaders and small port machinery retaining leading domestic market positions. Meanwhile, overseas market share for mining vehicles and large port machinery continued to climb.
In the new energy segment, the company's electric product lineup, including hybrid mining trucks, electric reach stackers, electric empty container handlers, and electric terminal tractors, is developing rapidly, positioning the group at the forefront of the industry's electrification trend.
