Key Output and Revenue • Chlor-alkali chemicals: 777,505 t produced, 707,566 t sold externally, generating RMB 3.35 billion in revenue. • C3-C4 chemicals: 1,473,687 t produced, 663,210 t sold externally, contributing RMB 4.04 billion in revenue. Product Price Dynamics Average first-half selling prices rose sharply for several petrochemical derivatives: • Epichlorohydrin up 36.53 % year-on-year (YoY) to RMB 11,064.51/t. • Propylene oxide up 26.33 % YoY to RMB 8,331.80/t. • Propylene up 19.12 % YoY to RMB 7,059.09/t. Conversely, caustic soda (sodium hydroxide, 100 % basis) fell 15.84 % YoY to RMB 2,685.57/t.
Second-quarter pricing accelerated for most products: propylene rose 29.85 % quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and 36.32 % YoY, while methyl tert-butyl ether climbed 26.43 % QoQ and 25.48 % YoY. Caustic soda continued to soften, sliding 3.46 % QoQ.
Raw-Material Cost Movements Feedstock pricing trended higher: • Propane averaged RMB 5,629.87/t, up 20.04 % YoY and 43.60 % QoQ in Q2. • Butane averaged RMB 5,521.63/t, up 20.74 % YoY and 42.81 % QoQ. • Raw coal rose modestly, gaining 3.44 % YoY but advancing 6.63 % QoQ in Q2.
