On the morning of August 26, recent media reports surfaced indicating that a suspected Avatr test vehicle performed a spot turn in a parking garage and collided with a parked Xiaomi YU7. A video circulating online shows the Xiaomi YU7 stationary in its parking space when the suspected Avatr test car, engaged in an in-place maneuver, made contact with it. The video also appears to show that no one exited the test vehicle to check the surrounding area for safety before the incident, ultimately leading to the crash.

As of the time of reporting, Avatr had not issued an official statement regarding the matter. However, a customer service representative from Avatr stated that they currently have no relevant information on the incident, and advised the public to follow Avatr's official channels for updates, emphasizing that information from official sources should be considered authoritative.
